Introduction

Welcome to Aletheias.
Aletheias provides a technology platform for spiritual and emotional wellness through guidance services offered for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. The Platform enables connections between individuals seeking guidance (“Seekers”) and independent service providers offering such guidance (“Advisors”), collectively “Users”, including live sessions (voice and chat), AI-powered symbolic tools (such as tarot or astrology), and related content (collectively, the “Services”).

The Services and the Aletheias website and applications (collectively, the “Platform”) are operated by Aletheias, based at Alkiviadou 52, Athens 10440, Greece (“Aletheias”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Aletheias does not itself provide any spiritual, advisory, counseling, or guidance services. Aletheias acts solely as a technology provider that facilitates interactions between Seekers and Advisors. Advisors are independent service providers and are solely responsible for the Services they offer.

By accessing or using the Platform or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform and Services.

1. Privacy Policy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Rules of Service

Not for Use in Certain Jurisdictions

The Services may not be used where prohibited by applicable law.

Geographic Availability

Aletheias may restrict or limit access to paid Services in certain jurisdictions for legal, regulatory, tax, or operational reasons. Availability of specific features or Services may vary by location. Aletheias does not guarantee that the Platform or paid Services will be available in all geographic regions at all times.

Age Requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and access paid Services.
Aletheias does not knowingly provide Services to minors.

Account Registration

To access Services, you must create an account (“Account”).
You represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete and agree to keep it updated.
One account per person.
Aletheias is not responsible for false or inaccurate information provided by Advisors in their profiles, although we can receive Seeker reports and modify the Advisor profile or block it if not truthful.

3. Marketplace Role and User-to-User Risk Allocation

Aletheias is a technology marketplace that enables connections between users seeking guidance (“Seekers”) and independent service providers (“Advisors”).

Aletheias does not provide spiritual wellness, emotional wellness, coaching, counseling, medical, psychological, legal, or financial services.

Aletheias does not:

  • endorse, or guarantee any counseling output
  • control or monitor advice exchanged between users

All interactions between users occur at the user’s own risk.

4. Nature of the Services – Entertainment Disclaimer

All Services provided by the Advisors through Aletheias, are offered for entertainment, spiritual and emotional wellness, and personal insight purposes only.

The Services do not constitute:

  • medical advice
  • psychological or therapeutic advice
  • legal advice
  • financial or investment advice

You agree that:

  • advisors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Aletheias
  • Aletheias does not guarantee outcomes
  • you are solely responsible for decisions made based on the Services

5. Limited Payment Collection Agency

Where applicable, Aletheias acts as a limited payment collection agent solely for the purpose of facilitating payments between Seekers and Advisors for Services actually rendered by Advisors.

Payments made by Seekers to Aletheias may be held as prepaid credits within the Platform and are not deemed to be received by any Advisor until such credits are applied to completed Services provided by that Advisor. 

The Seeker’s payment obligation toward an Advisor is satisfied only upon application of credits to Services actually delivered by that Advisor.

6. Payments, Credits, and Charges

All paid Services are billed based on the pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
Session charges are calculated per minute.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Aletheias does not store full payment card details.

Payments may be subject to fraud prevention checks and compliance reviews by Aletheias and its payment providers. Aletheias may suspend or delay transactions where required for legal, regulatory, or risk management reasons.

7. Pricing and Billing

7.1 Pricing Model

Live sessions with Advisors are charged per minute.
The price per minute is clearly displayed before a session starts.

7.2 Pre-Authorization and Final Charge

When a session starts, a temporary pre-authorization may be placed on your payment method or on your prepaid credit balance within the Platform.
No charges are finalized until Services are actually delivered or credits are applied to completed sessions.
Any unused pre-authorized amount is automatically released.

7.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

8. Credits and Rewards (Crystals)

8.1 Credits

Seekers may purchase credits to access Services.
Credits are non-transferable and can only be used on the Platform.

8.2 Crystals (Rewards)

Upon purchasing credits, and spending minutes in consultancies, Seekers receive reward points called “Crystals”.
Crystals may be converted into credits according to the conversion rates determined by Aletheias from time to time. Crystals have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.

8.3 Refundability

  • Purchased credits not used within 14 days may be refunded.
  • Purchased credits not used after 14 days are not refundable.
  • Credits obtained through conversion of Crystals are never refundable.
  • Used credits are not refundable

9. AI Tools Disclaimer

Where AI-powered tools (e.g. tarot, astrology) are offered:

  • outputs are symbolic interpretations only
  • they are not predictive guarantees
  • seekers inputs are processed only to generate the requested output
  • seekers data is not reused for AI training

10. Recording and Monitoring

You agree that you will not record, copy, transcribe, or store any sessions without the consent of both parties, Advisors and Seekers.
Any unauthorized recording, transcription, or retention of sessions constitutes a material breach of these Terms, with the exception of the chat history, which is stored in the Advisor and Seeker account for up to 30 days.

11. Refusal of Service

Aletheias reserves the right to:

  • refuse or terminate Services
  • suspend or close accounts
  • deny access without notice

including, without limitation, for:

  • abuse
  • fraud
  • harassment
  • violation of these Terms

Advisors may independently terminate a session if a Seeker’s behavior is abusive, inappropriate, or threatening. Such termination does not automatically entitle the Seeker to a refund or credit.

12. User Conduct and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • harass, threaten, or abuse advisors or Seekers or both
  • impersonate others
  • bypass platform safeguards
  • attempt to contact advisors outside the Platform

Violation may result in immediate termination without refund.

13. Verification, Fraud, and Compliance

Aletheias may verify identity, payment information, or account activity and may suspend Accounts pending verification.

You consent to the disclosure of necessary personal data to third-party service providers for fraud prevention and compliance, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including text, graphics, software, trademarks, and designs (“Content”), is owned by or licensed to Aletheias.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.
Unauthorized copying, recording, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

15. User Submissions

Any content you submit (reviews, testimonials, messages, etc.) is:

  • non-confidential
  • provided at your own risk

By submitting content, you grant Aletheias a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for Platform-related purposes.

16. Third-Party Content and Links

Aletheias may include third-party content or links.
We do not control or endorse third-party sites and assume no responsibility for them.

17. Release of Liability Between Users

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Aletheias from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from interactions between Seekers or Advisors.

Aletheias is not responsible for the conduct, advice, or omissions of any Seeker or Advisor.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aletheias shall not be liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • loss of data, income, or profits
  • decisions made based on Services

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Aletheias in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aletheias, its affiliates, officers, contractors, and advisors from any claims arising from:

  • your use of the Services
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your interactions with other Seekers or Advisors

20. Electronic Records and Acceptance

You consent to the use of electronic agreements, records, and notices.
Electronic acceptance constitutes legally binding consent.

21. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent.
Aletheias may assign these Terms freely.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and applicable EU law.
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for intellectual property violations.

23. Termination

Aletheias may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or Services at any time.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Termination does not affect provisions intended to survive (including liability limitations and indemnification).

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the:

  • User Services Policy
  • Refund and Credit Policy
  • Feedback Policy
  • Photo Policy
  • Adult Content Policy
  • Privacy Policy 
  • Anti-Discrimination & Inclusion Policy

constitute the entire agreement between you and Aletheias regarding use of the Platform and Services.

This User Services Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Aletheias Terms of Use and is incorporated therein by reference.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

This Policy applies to all users who create listings, offer, provide, or participate in paid or unpaid Services on the Aletheias Platform, including Advisors.

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of an Account, without notice, in Aletheias’ sole discretion.

1. General Obligations

All paid communications and Services must occur exclusively through the Aletheias Platform.
You may not circumvent the Platform, request or accept off-platform payments, or redirect users to third-party services or payment methods.

2. Off-Platform Contact and Circumvention

You may not:

  • Share personal contact information
  • Request or offer communication outside the Platform
  • Encourage off-platform relationships or follow-ups

Any attempt to circumvent the Platform may result in suspension or termination of the Account.

3. Recording and Retention

Seekers may not record, transcribe, screenshot, store, or retain any sessions or communications without the explicit consent of the Advisor.

Users are likewise prohibited from recording Advisors without consent.

Unauthorized recording constitutes a material breach of this Policy.

4. Conduct, Communications, and Respect

You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, manipulate, or coerce users
  • Engage in abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior
  • Use the Platform for solicitation, spam, or promotion

Advisors are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct at all times.

5. Feedback and Reviews

You may not:

  • Leave feedback for yourself
  • Use secondary accounts or third parties to influence feedback
  • Offer incentives, compensation, or free services in exchange for reviews
  • Retaliate against users for negative or neutral feedback

Any attempt to manipulate or retaliate against the feedback system is prohibited.

Users may submit a review following the completion of a consultation session. Reviews may be submitted within fourteen (14) days from the end of the relevant session. After this period, the ability to submit a review may be disabled.

Reviews are based on a multi-criteria rating system. Users may assign a rating from one (1) to five (5) stars for each of the following criteria:

  • Empathy
  • Accuracy
  • Clarity
  • Integrity
  • Connection
  • Value

Reviews and ratings are intended to reflect the User’s personal experience of the session and are provided for informational purposes only.

6. Identity and Payment Information

You must:

  • Provide true, accurate, and complete identity and payment information
  • Keep contact and payment details up to date
  • Not impersonate others or use false identities

This Refund and Credit Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Aletheias Terms of Use and is incorporated therein by reference.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

This Policy applies to all users who create listings, offer, provide, or participate in paid or unpaid Services on the Aletheias Platform, including Advisors.

Aletheias distinguishes between unused account balances and completed Services.

1. No Refunds for Completed Services

All live sessions and Services delivered through the Platform are final once initiated or completed.

No cash refunds are issued for:

  • completed sessions
  • dissatisfaction with advice or outcomes
  • Interpretations or personal decisions

Any dissatisfaction may be addressed solely through credits, where applicable and at Aletheias’ discretion.

2. Refunds of Unused Account Balance

Users may request a refund of unused funds remaining in their Account balance that were purchased within fourteen (14) days prior to the refund request.

Any portion of the Account balance attributable to credits purchased more than fourteen (14) days prior to the refund request is not refundable.

Credits obtained through the conversion of rewards or loyalty points (including “Crystals”) are not refundable under any circumstances.

To request a refund, users must contact Customer Support and complete account verification. Upon approval, the refundable portion of the unused balance will be debited from the Account and returned to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, subject to payment provider and banking delays.

Aletheias is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers or financial institutions.

3. Automatic Refunds upon Account Closure

Unused Account balances may be automatically refunded upon account closure if:

  • the user requests account closure, or
  • Aletheias terminates the user account.

Only the portion of the unused Account balance attributable to credits purchased within fourteen (14) days prior to account closure may be eligible for refund. Any portion of the balance attributable to credits purchased more than fourteen (14) days prior to account closure is not refundable.

Credits obtained through the conversion of rewards or loyalty points (including “Crystals”) are not refundable.

Refunds are limited to the refundable unused balance only and will be returned to the original payment method, subject to payment provider and banking delays.

4. Discretionary Refunds

Aletheias may, in its sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in cases involving:

  • technical errors
  • duplicate or erroneous charges
  • suspected fraud
  • compliance with legal or regulatory requirements
  • payment processor or banking rules

5. Credits vs Cash Refunds

Credits issued by Aletheias:

  • have no cash value
  • are non-transferable
  • may only be used on the Platform
  • are not refundable except where required by law

6. Chargebacks and Abuse

Users who initiate chargebacks without first contacting Customer Support may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

Abuse of refund or credit policies may result in permanent account restrictions.

Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use and related policies.

This Policy applies to all Seekers leaving a review.

1. Purpose of the Feedback System

Aletheias provides a star rating and written feedback system to allow Seekers to share their opinions regarding interactions with Advisors.

Feedback is intended to reflect genuine user experiences and to assist other Seekers in making informed decisions.

Once submitted, feedback generally becomes a permanent part of an Advisor’s public record and may not be edited.

Users are encouraged to exercise care, fairness, and good judgment when leaving feedback.

Seekers may submit a review only following the completion of a consultation session and within fourteen (14) days from the end of the relevant session. After this period, the ability to submit a review may be disabled.

Reviews are based on a multi-criteria rating system. Seekers may assign a rating from one (1) to five (5) stars for each of the following criteria:

  • Empathy
  • Accuracy
  • Clarity
  • Integrity
  • Connection
  • Value

Ratings and written feedback are intended to reflect the Seeker’s personal experience of the consultation session and are provided for informational purposes only.

2. Responsibility for Feedback Content

Seekers are solely responsible for the content of the feedback they submit.

Feedback represents the opinions of the Seeker who posted it and does not reflect the views of Aletheias.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aletheias is not legally responsible for feedback posted by Seekers, including feedback that may be inaccurate, offensive, or defamatory.

Seekers acknowledge that they may be held legally responsible if a court or competent authority determines that feedback they posted is defamatory or unlawful.

Aletheias does not routinely investigate feedback for accuracy and does not guarantee the truthfulness of feedback.

3. Prohibited Feedback Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • leaving feedback for oneself, directly or indirectly, including through secondary accounts or third parties
  • offering, soliciting, or providing anything of value in exchange for feedback
  • retaliating against Seekers for feedback received
  • threatening, harassing, or coercing Seekers regarding feedback
  • attempting to manipulate ratings or reviews

Any such conduct may result in removal of feedback, suspension, or termination of the responsible account.

4. Grounds for Feedback Removal

Aletheias reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove feedback in whole or in part if it meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • feedback comments exclusively about Aletheias or the Platform rather than the Advisor or the Services provided
  • feedback containing profane, vulgar, sexually explicit, or obscene language
  • feedback containing personal identifying information, including real names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses
  • feedback relating to actions or services outside the scope of the Advisor’s listed Services
  • feedback submitted by a Seeker who provided false or unverifiable registration information
  • feedback determined to be harassing, abusive, or threatening in nature
  • feedback referring to or quoting other Seekers’ feedback or containing external links
  • feedback describing a transaction where no Services were provided due to a verified technical issue, provided the affected Advisor agrees to a refund
  • feedback clearly intended for another Advisor and reported as such by the submitting Seeker
  • feedback deemed irrelevant or not reflective of a genuine user-to-user interaction

Aletheias is not required to remove feedback solely because it is negative, critical, or unfavorable.

5. Feedback Revisions

Feedback may be considered for revision only in limited circumstances.

Aletheias may review requests to revise a star rating if both Users involved mutually agree in writing that the rating no longer reflects the transaction.

Written confirmation from both parties is required.

Aletheias is under no obligation to approve revision requests.

6. Abuse of the Feedback System

Aletheias reserves the right to take action against Users who abuse the feedback system, including but not limited to:

  • issuing warnings
  • removing feedback
  • restricting feedback privileges
  • suspending or terminating accounts

Such actions may be taken without prior notice where permitted by law.

7. Final Authority

All decisions regarding feedback moderation, removal, or revision are made at the sole discretion of Aletheias.

This Policy applies to both, Seekers and Advisors.

1. Advisor Listing Photos

To maintain clarity, trust, and consistency across the Platform, Advisors are required to upload a clear photo of themselves to their listings.

If an Advisor chooses not to upload a personal photo, or if the uploaded photo does not comply with this Policy, Aletheias may replace the listing image with a default image, at its sole discretion.

2. Prohibited Photo Content

Users may not upload, post, transmit, or display any photo that:

  • contains nudity, sexual acts, or pornographic material
  • is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory
  • is racially or ethnically offensive
  • invades another person’s privacy or publicity rights
  • contains unauthorized advertising, marketing, or promotional material
  • infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary or intellectual property rights
  • the User does not have the legal right to upload, transmit, or display under applicable law or contractual obligations

All uploaded content must comply with applicable laws and these Policies.

3. Responsibility for Content

All photos are the sole responsibility of the User from whom the content originated.

Aletheias does not control or actively monitor photos and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such content.

4. Removal of Content

Aletheias reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove, replace, or restrict access to any photo or video that:

  • violates this Policy
  • violates the Terms of Use or other applicable policies
  • poses legal, safety, or reputational risks

Such removal may occur regardless of whether the content was posted publicly or shared privately.

5. Consent and Use of Images

Seekers and Advisors may upload profile photos, avatars, and, where applicable, banner images associated with their profiles or listings on the Platform.

By uploading any photo, Users grant Aletheias the right to display and use such content for purposes related to the operation of the Platform, including profiles, listings, and related features, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Users represent and warrant that they own the rights to the photos they upload or that they have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and consents to upload and use such images, including where images are royalty-free or licensed from third parties.

Users further confirm that they have obtained all necessary rights and consents for any identifiable individual appearing in uploaded content.

6. No Endorsement

The presence of a photo on the Platform does not imply verification, endorsement, or approval of the User or their Services by Aletheias.

7. Entire Policy

This Photo Policy constitutes the entire agreement with respect to its subject matter and supersedes any prior policies or understandings relating to photos or videos on the Platform.

This Policy applies to both, Seekers and Advisors.

1. Introduction

Aletheias is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all Users.

This Adult Content Policy establishes rules governing the creation, transmission, and exchange of adult or sexually explicit content on the Platform.

While Aletheias recognizes that Users may engage in mature discussions related to relationships, intimacy, or sexual wellness, Adult Content is generally prohibited on the Platform.

Each User is responsible for determining their own comfort level within the bounds set by this Policy and applicable laws.

The Platform currently supports text-based and voice-based communications only. Users are not able to upload or exchange images, photos, or videos within private messages or live chat sessions.

2. Definition of Adult Content

For the purposes of this Policy, Adult Content includes any content, communication, or material that is explicit, sexually suggestive, or pornographic and is intended to sexually arouse or promote sexual gratification.

This includes, without limitation:

  • explicit sexual descriptions or roleplay
  • sexually explicit images, videos, or audio
  • sexually explicit written, spoken, or AI-generated content
  • phone, or chat interactions intended to create sexual arousal

3. Prohibited Adult Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Aletheias:

a. Explicit Sexual Content

Any depiction or description of explicit sexual acts, sexual situations, nudity, or pornography intended to arouse or gratify sexually.

b. Sexual Solicitation

Any content involving or promoting sexual services, escorting, prostitution, or solicitation of sexual acts.

c. Obscene or Offensive Sexual Material

Overtly obscene, graphic, or offensive sexual content intended to shock, provoke, offend, or sexually arouse.

d. Content Involving Minors

Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
 For the purposes of this Policy, a minor is any person under the age of eighteen (18).

This prohibition applies regardless of context, intent, or jurisdiction.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

a. General Conduct

Users must not post, transmit, communicate, or otherwise exchange Adult Content on the Platform. This includes content shared during live sessions, private messages, listings, profiles, AI tools, or any other feature of the Platform, whether in text or voice form.

b. Prohibited Use

Users must not use Aletheias for illicit, sexually explicit, or sexually exploitative activities.

c. Respectful Communication

Users are responsible for ensuring that all interactions remain respectful, appropriate, and compliant with this Policy and applicable laws.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

Users are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Policy through Aletheias’ reporting tools or support channels.

Aletheias will review reports and may take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

  • removal of content
  • suspension or termination of accounts
  • restriction of Platform access
  • referral to appropriate authorities where required by law

Aletheias reserves the right to act without prior notice where permitted by law.

6. Permitted Contextual Discussions

Certain discussions related to sexual topics may be permitted solely in an educational, informational, or advisory context, such as discussions related to relationships, intimacy, or sexual wellness.

Such discussions must:

  • be respectful and non-graphic
  • avoid explicit sexual descriptions
  • not be intended to arouse or gratify sexually

Aletheias reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether content crosses the boundary from permitted discussion into prohibited Adult Content.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

7. Modifications to This Policy

Aletheias may update or modify this Adult Content Policy from time to time.

Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
