a. Before Launch (Waitlist)
We collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, and country
- User type: whether you are an advisor or a seeker
Collected through signup forms to notify you when Aletheias launches.
b. After Launch (Platform Use)
When using Aletheias’s services, we may collect:
- Profile data from advisors (name, bio, photo, language, area of expertise, ratings and reviews)
- Session data including duration, time, and connection logs
- Payment data (processed securely by third-party processors; Aletheias does not store full card details)
- Analytics data such as cookies, IP address, device type, and usage statistics to improve service performance
Aletheias does not collect or use data from readings to train or improve AI systems. When AI tools are introduced, user inputs will be processed only to generate requested outputs and will not be reused for model training.

Aletheias does not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Aletheias uses standard analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar) to measure traffic and usage.
These tools may use cookies and collect anonymized usage data.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- Data is currently hosted via Base44 (servers may be located in the United States).
- Once operations scale, EU-based hosting will be prioritized.
- Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purpose collected.
- Waitlist data will be deleted within 12 months of launch if no ongoing consent exists.
6. Data Sharing
Aletheias may share limited data with:
- Communication providers (e.g. for voice and chat sessions)
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe or equivalent)
- Analytics or hosting providers (for performance and maintenance)
All third parties are required to comply with GDPR or equivalent data-protection standards through contractual agreements.

If any service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), data transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or other GDPR-approved safeguards.

a. Additional Rights for U.S. Residents

All payments and communications are encrypted via SSL/TLS protocols.
10. Marketing and Communication
Aletheias does not send marketing newsletters.
Waitlist users will only receive one-time notifications when Aletheias launches or when advisor verification opens.

Aletheias is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age and does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
