Blind verification before joining
Advisor applicants complete a structured, multi-stage blind verification process before they can become visible on the marketplace. The aim is to reduce impersonation, poor practice, and unaccountable profiles.
About Aletheias
Aletheias is a spiritual wellness marketplace built to bring honesty, care, and accountability back into online spiritual guidance—for those seeking clarity and those offering it.
The name
ἀλήθειαςOf truth · Of the truthSpiritual guidance can be personal, interpretive, and meaningful without becoming vague about the practical things that matter.
Aletheias was created around a simple distinction: no platform can promise to hold the truth of someone’s future, but it can be truthful about who is providing a service, how they were assessed, what the session costs, what standards apply, and where the boundaries are.
That is what the name represents: not spectacle, and not a claim to possess answers, but a responsibility to make the surrounding experience clearer, safer, and more respectful.
Our story
The platform grew from lived experience and from seeing the same structural problems repeat across online spiritual guidance.
One founder briefly worked as a tarot reader on existing platforms, before later experiencing the same industry as a seeker.
Working as an advisor revealed what it feels like to offer guidance under platform pressure. Becoming a seeker revealed the other side: what it feels like to search for clarity during emotionally vulnerable moments.
Across multiple services, similar patterns appeared. Volume was often valued more than care. Advisors could be encouraged to prolong conversations and maximise minutes, while seekers could be nudged toward repeated consultations instead of being supported toward clarity and autonomy.
At the same time, advisors were frequently left without the tools expected in any modern professional environment: meaningful analytics, clear operational information, and platform support designed around the quality of their work rather than constant conversion pressure.
Aletheias was created in response—to build a marketplace that recognises the emotional weight of spiritual guidance and the responsibility owed to everyone taking part in it.
The question became not only “Who should people trust?” but also “What kind of system encourages trustworthy behaviour?”
A different incentive
Aletheias is intentionally designed not to reward the behaviours that turn personal guidance into a high-pressure marketplace.
How this shaped Aletheias
The values are not intended to live only in brand language. They are translated into product rules, verification, payments, information, and professional tools.
Advisor applicants complete a structured, multi-stage blind verification process before they can become visible on the marketplace. The aim is to reduce impersonation, poor practice, and unaccountable profiles.
Payments are designed to take place through Aletheias, creating a clear transaction record and stronger accountability for both clients and advisors.
Advisors receive dashboards and practical information to manage their availability, sessions, feedback, and work with greater dignity—not tools built only to push retention and upselling.
Clients are shown real profiles, clearly described services, rates, meaningful feedback, availability, and practical terms so that the decision to connect is informed rather than pressured.
Clear boundaries
Aletheias recognises that spiritual conversations can touch grief, relationships, identity, uncertainty, and other deeply personal parts of life. That makes boundaries more important, not less.
Clients should not be frightened into longer sessions, repeated bookings, or immediate purchases.
Guidance may offer interpretation, perspective, or personal meaning. It cannot promise a specific future or result.
The platform is intended to support informed choice and autonomy, not cycles of emotional reliance.
Spiritual guidance is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, or financial professionals.
A community built on respect
Aletheias is built as a community space, not merely a transaction layer. Everyone who joins agrees to shared standards of respect, non-discrimination, and responsible conduct.
Spiritual paths, methods, identities, and beliefs may differ. Basic human dignity does not. Discrimination, harassment, manipulation, and exploitation have no place on the platform, and serious or repeated violations may result in removal from the community.
Spiritual guidance can remain personal and mysterious while the marketplace around it becomes clearer, fairer, and more accountable.
