Accounts, safety and privacy — the answers that apply whichever side of a session you are on.

Accounts and eligibility.

Who can use Aletheias, and what you need to get started.

Do I need to be 18 or older?

Yes. Aletheias is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, to book a session, or to work as an advisor.

What do I need to create an account?

An email address you can access and a mobile number belonging to US, CA, AU or UK network, that we can verify with a short code.

Can I have more than one account?

No. One person, one account. Using several accounts to get around a limit, a review, or a suspension is not allowed.

How do I close my account?

Write to us an email and ask for your account to be closed. We will confirm what happens to your data, in line with the Privacy Policy.

Safety and conduct.

The behaviour we expect, and what to do when something goes wrong.

What behaviour is not allowed?

Harassment, threats, discriminatory or hateful language, sexual content, pressure to keep spending, and any attempt to create dependency. This applies to Seekers and Advisors equally.

The full list, and what happens when a rule is broken, is in the Community Guidelines.

How do I report someone?

End the session if you feel unsafe, then send us an email and tell us what happened. Reports are read by a person, not by an automated filter.

What if I am in crisis?

Aletheias is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country first.

Advisors are asked to pause a session and point you toward proper help rather than continue a reading in a crisis situation.

Is everyone treated equally?

Yes. Discrimination on the basis of race, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or spiritual background is not tolerated. Our commitments are written down in the Anti-Discrimination & Inclusion Policy.

Privacy and your data.

What we store, and how private a session is.

Is my session private?

Calls are not recorded, and both Seekers and Advisors are not allowed to record conversations without consent.

Chat consultancies remain in the history chat of both Seekers and Advisors for 30 days.

What data do you keep about me?

The account details you give us, the bookings you make, and the records we need to run payments and support. The categories, the reasons, and how long we keep each one are listed in the Privacy Policy.

Can I ask for a copy of my data, or have it deleted?

Yes. Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data. Send us an email and we will respond within the legal deadline.

For Seekers

Choosing an advisor, how a booking works, money, and the honest limits of a reading.

Finding an advisor.

How to compare profiles before you commit to anything.

How do I choose?

Compare the services on offer, the way the advisor describes their approach, the languages they speak, their reviews, their availability, their rate, and the session formats they support.

If a profile does not answer a question that matters to you, that is useful information too.

What kinds of services exist?

We onboard Mediums and Psychics, each one of them in their profiles can describe themselves through a series of services divided in categories (divinatory, energy & healing-based services, spiritual guidance services and mediumship services) and skills divided in categories (perceptive & extrasensory, mediumistic abilities, mind-Matter interaction, multisensory abilities, applied skills).

Are the reviews real?

Reviews come from people who actually booked and completed a session with that advisor. Advisors cannot edit or delete a review, and they cannot pay to have one removed.

What does “verified” mean?

An Advisor cannot create a public profile automatically. Every applicant goes through a manual application, a live review, and a multi-stage blind verification before being approved. The steps are described on page How we vet.

Booking and sessions.

What happens between choosing an advisor and starting a session.

How are sessions delivered?

Through the formats shown on the advisor's card and profile, such as a private call or a private chat. The profile tells you which formats that advisor supports.

What will I see before I confirm?

The timing, the rate, the booking terms, and the connection details for the format you picked. Nothing is charged before you confirm.

How long does a session last?

As long as the duration you booked. If you need more time, you book more time — an advisor should never pressure you to extend.

What if I need to reschedule?

Use the booking itself to change or cancel within the window shown at checkout. The applicable notice periods are set out in the Payment Terms.

Payments and disputes.

How money moves, and what to do if a session goes wrong.

What currency do you use?

Prices are shown in euro (EUR). The amount you see before confirming is the amount you pay.

When am I charged?

At the point you confirm a booking. Payments are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us. The full rules are in the Payment Terms.

What if I leave the session early?

You only pay for the time you actually use. If you pay for a 40-minute session but end it after 25 minutes, you are charged for the 25 minutes you spent and the difference is returned to you. You are never charged for time you did not use.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds depend on when you cancel and on what actually happened during the session. Cancellation windows, refund cases, and the dispute route are all described in the Payment Terms.

Something went wrong. What now?

End the session, then open a report by sending us an email. Tell us the booking, what happened, and what outcome you are asking for. We review both sides before deciding.

What a reading cannot do.

The honest limits of any session booked here.

Can an advisor guarantee an outcome?

No. A session may offer interpretation, perspective, connection, personal meaning or future probabilities but it cannot guarantee future events.

Any promise of a guaranteed result — a specific job, a specific person, a specific date — is a warning sign, and it breaches our standards.

What should an advisor never do?

Diagnose you, tell you to stop a treatment, claim to remove a curse for a fee, create fear in order to sell more time, or make you feel that you cannot decide anything without them.

For Advisors

If you want to offer readings: applying, vetting, your public profile, day-to-day expectations, and getting paid.

Applying as an advisor.

How to join, and what the review actually involves.

How do I apply?

Fill in the application form on the Become an advisor page. Take your time with it: the way you describe your practice is the main thing we read.

What does the vetting process look like?

A manual review of your application, a live conversation, and a multi-stage blind verification of your practice. Each stage is described on How we vet.

Who can join?

Adults who can describe their practice clearly, work within the platform's standards, and hold a conversation with care. Experience matters more than a title, and no certificate on its own guarantees approval.

What if my application is declined?

You will be told. A decline is about fit with the marketplace at that moment, not a judgement of your practice, and you may apply again later.

Profiles and services.

What has to be visible on your public profile.

What claims are not allowed?

Guaranteed outcomes, medical or legal or financial advice, curse-removal-for-a-fee offers, invented credentials, and anything that uses fear to sell. These lead to removal.

Working on the platform.

Availability, sessions, and day-to-day expectations.

Do I have to keep fixed hours?

No. You set your own availability. What matters is that the availability shown on your profile is the availability you honour.

What is expected during a session?

Respect, honesty about what you can and cannot do, clear boundaries, and no pressure to extend or rebook. If a Seeker is in crisis, pause and point them to proper help.

Can I take clients off the platform?

No. Moving a Seeker to a private channel removes their protections around payment, records, and disputes, and it is grounds for removal.

What happens if I break a rule?

Depending on what happened: a warning, a temporary suspension, or removal from the marketplace. The escalation is described in the Community Guidelines.

Getting paid and tax.

How compensation reaches you, and what stays your responsibility.

How am I paid?

Payments are processed through Stripe Payment (https://stripe.com/), which handles the payout to your account. Amounts are in euro.

Who is responsible for my taxes?

You are. Advisors on Aletheias work independently, so declaring income and meeting local tax and invoicing obligations is your responsibility, not the platform's.

Where do I see what I earned?

In your advisor records, session by session, with the amount and the date. You can export them for your own accounting.

What happens when a Seeker disputes a session?

The related amount is held while we look at both sides. If the dispute is upheld, the refund follows the Payment Terms.

Still need help?

If your question is not here, write to us. Real people read the messages, and we would rather clarify something early than have you book in the dark.
